Features

Tournament rules in a mobile app

Every match follows the same path: matchmaking, veto, lobby, result, rating. Nothing gets settled by chat agreement.

ELO

ELO-based matchmaking

The queue looks for opponents near your rating and widens the band the longer you wait. Teams are split 5v5 so the two average ratings land as close together as possible.

PARTY

Parties of up to five

Invite friends by static ID, fill a roster of five and queue together. A party is never split apart when teams are formed.

VETO

Captain map veto

Seven maps, six alternating bans — one survives. Each turn lasts 30 seconds and times out into an automatic ban, so the veto never stalls.

VOICE

Team voice chat

Voice is built in: one room for your party, one per team in a match. Volume mixer, one-tap mute, no third-party app required.

SEASON

Leaderboard and seasons

A leaderboard per league and season, your rank on the profile, and a match history with K/D/A and the rating delta of every game.

SHOP

Shop and cosmetics

Frames, banners, flags, nickname emoji and nickname colour for Cyber Coin. The Black Market opens on a schedule with 40–70% discounts.

How it works

Queue to rating in five steps

The server drives the match: every phase has a timer and a rule for leaving it.

  1. Queue

Pick a league and hit search. The app shows how many players are in game and in queue right now.

  2. Ready check

Once ten players are found, everyone confirms within 30 seconds. If someone declines, the rest return to the queue without losing their place.

  3. Map veto

Captains take turns removing maps until one is left. The captain is the highest-rated player on the team.

  4. Lobby

The server picks a host at random from the two captains and reveals their Standoff 2 ID. Copy it, join the lobby, play.

  5. Result

Any of the ten uploads the scoreboard screenshot. The score is read automatically, both teams vote, a moderator confirms — and ELO is recalculated.

Rating

A system you can read: ELO, levels, seasons

No hidden coefficients. Your level comes straight out of your ELO, and you can see what a win is worth before you play it.

Start at 300 ELO

A new player and a new season both start at 300 points and level 2. Rating never drops below zero.

Flat, published deltas

What a win adds and a loss takes away depends only on your level. At level 1 that is +35 and −10; at level 10 it is +10 and −20 — the higher you climb, the more your place costs to hold.

Ten levels

Your level is recalculated after every match and can go down — it reflects your current rating, not how much you have played.

Seasons and ladders

A season resets statistics without deleting history — past seasons stay on your profile. Inside each month, ladders rank level bands: they never touch ELO and never split matchmaking.

Leagues

Four leagues, a separate rating in each

Statistics are tracked per league and per season — moving to another league does not carry your ELO across.

Default

Open ranked matchmaking. Granted to everyone who registers from a phone.

PC

A separate queue for players on a computer — mobile and PC never mix.

Qualifications

Bought in the shop, or unlocked for free by finishing top-30 of the monthly level 8–10 ladder. Held for as long as you meet the match and K/D quota.

Pro

A closed league — access is granted by hand.

Maps

The active veto pool

Seven maps — an odd number, so a pure ban-down always leaves exactly one. Playing nothing but your favourite map is not an option.

Fair play

No one can fake a result alone

A match closes only once both teams and a human moderator have confirmed it.

  1. A screenshot, not your word for it

The outcome is backed by a scoreboard screenshot. The same file cannot be reused in another match — it is checked by hash.

  2. Both teams vote

The screenshot goes to all ten players. Until at least two on each side agree, the match does not move on.

  3. Human moderation

Final K/D/A and the score are entered by a moderator. Only then is rating applied — and a verified match can no longer be cancelled by vote.

  4. Reports and bans

You can report a player straight from the match: cheating, toxic behaviour, griefing, leaving. A suspect account goes under review and loses access to matches.

Profile

A profile people actually see

Frame, banner, region flag, nickname emoji and colour — all of it shows up to opponents in the lobby and on the leaderboard.

FAQ

The short answers

Is Cyber Faceit a separate game?

No. You play inside Standoff 2 itself; the app handles matchmaking, map veto, voice chat and rating. The match runs in a normal Standoff 2 lobby, with the host assigned by the server.

Do I need a Standoff 2 account?

Yes — you enter your Standoff 2 game ID when you register. Opponents use it to find the lobby, and the platform uses it to tie results to your profile.

What does it cost?

Matchmaking, parties, voice chat, rating and the leaderboard are free. Only cosmetics, the premium subscription and the Qualifications league are paid — and Qualifications can also be earned for free at the top of the monthly ladder.

What if an opponent leaves the match?

A match can be cancelled by vote: six of ten votes close it with no rating change. If the result is never confirmed, the match cancels itself after two hours. The player who left can be reported.

Can I play with friends?

Yes. Add friends by static ID and build a party of up to five — the queue then looks for opponents for the whole group, and a voice room is created automatically.

Which devices are supported?

The app is coming to iOS and Android. Players on a computer get a separate PC league with its own queue and its own rating.
